Revisions

I really hate to say it, up until the very early part of December I had been caught up doing School work for my College Course. I am now finished with that, and have been for about 3 weeks now. But in that time my Beta for Harry Potter and the Dials of Time has asked me to go back all the way to Chapter 1 of Harry Potter and the Dials of Time so that I can do some revisions to make the story mesh better with what is known of the Harry Potter Canon, and so that it flows better with what I am trying to achieve with my own story.

I have as of last night completed the revisions to the first chapter and sent those off to my Beta. I am now waiting to hear back from him on that front. I am going to also start working on the revisions of Chapter 2 of the story. And then once that is finished, I will go through and revise what I have already written of Chapter 3. And when the last chapter is revised, I will post up all three revised chapters in one big update so that you can all view them as a completed work at the same time.

It is my hope that my doing it that way will help you appreciate the completed works better when they are finished.

Dials of Time 2, and Won Initiative 3

I am hoping to begin work on Dials of Time Chapter 2 and Won Initiative Chapter 3 as soon as I finish my first exam in my Art Appreciation Class tomorrow night, though I might not begin writing them until the day after tomorrow night due to wanting to spend a bit of time recuperating from the exam.

I also want to thank Bogus1 for offering to become my Beta for the Won Initiative. I have also asked someone about their interest in becoming a beta for Dials of Time, but have yet to receive a response back from them as of yet. Only time will tell on that front.

I also want to comment that the word counts on this blog are approximate goals, and not a word count that is set in stone when I write. It is just there to give you all a rough idea of where I am at while I am writing.

Thanks again to all my supporters.

Okay, yeah so this is my first blog on here. I want to say a big thank you to all one hundred and ten people following The Won Initiative and the Kwisatz Haderach. As well as all 32 people who have reviewed the same story. People asked a lot of questions, and I hope that I am able to answer them all with the following chapter.

Unfortunately I don't view Argylle being as overtly Genre Aware as Milo happens to be, but he will be Genre Savvy to an extent. I define Genre Aware as being consciously aware of the rules of how the D&D Universe operates. Where as I define Genre Savvy as being cognizant of general tropes and meme's that are prevalent within the confines of the Role Playing Game Genre. Argylle is definitely Genre Savvy by my definition though.

I would also like to announce that I am going to be beginning to work on a new Fan Fiction which a friend from my class at college helped me come up with a working title for: Harry Potter and the Dials of Time. I will leave it to your own imaginations as to what this fan fiction is going to entail, but I am going to try to put a great deal more forethought into crafting HPDOT than I did with The Won Initiative. Feel free to comment on both subjects here and tell me what you think.
